Powerless

“Just because I don’t have a power, doesn’t mean I’m Powerless.”

Rating: 4.5/5 Stars

Powerless by Tera Lynn Childs and Tracy Deebs is a wonderful book for any lover of the classic, almost cheesy but not exactly, fantasy/science fiction book. It follows a young teenager named Kenna who lives in a superhero world. The only catch, she isn’t one of the powered. Which is a struggle when some of the three most powerful villains in the world decide to steal break into the superhero facility while she is working overtime.

This book is not only hilarious, as the writing is witty and conversational, but the storyline is quiet intense. I found myself flipping each page so vigorously that I almost ripped them out of the book. I just had to know what happened.

However, it was an easier read, so if you want to be challenged intellectually or any of the above, I would recommend you read another book. This is a knock-out-in-one-day kind of book.
